I’m opening up my street team for the 2021 year.
The members of Toni’s Book Troop work alongside me to spread the news about my reads. Besides being the first line of influence in a book launch, members get to see sneak peeks, first view of book covers, and many more perks!
What is a “Street Team”?
A street team is a group of people who spread the word about books they enjoy written by authors they love. It can also be referred as an influencer team. Members commit to helping promoting an authors books for either a new release or recently released books.
What do members do?
There are a number of actions a street team member performs. Some (not all) are:
- Read the eBook ARC (advanced reader copy) and review
- Share a blog post
- Post a bookstagram picture
- Request library to order new release
- Recommend to friends and family
Who can be a member?
That’s simple: those who love to read. You don’t have to have a ton of social media accounts (although I do use a Facebook group to communicate with my team). You don’t have to even have a blog. But if you have a willingness to read the books and then tell people about them, I’m interested in having you on the team.
