Happy Tuesday, Reader Friends!
I hope you’re having an awesome start of the week and enjoying some warm spring weather. If not, you can comfort yourself with some books. 😉 Today, Alexa Verde is taking over the blog to talk about A Tuscan Legacy. Show her some love in the comments!
A Tuscan Legacy
Thank you so much, Toni, for having me on your blog today. I love your blog, and I’m honored to be featured here.
Since I was a child, I loved reading and writing, and it never changed. A couple of decades ago, I used to be passionate about travel, too. If given an opportunity, I could go somewhere at a drop of a hat. These days, I’m still curious about other countries and cultures, still love learning new traditions. But mostly I do armchair travel.
So when Marion Ueckermann and Autumn Macarthur offered me to join a nine-book multi-author project with an international flavor, I was thrilled. I could combine both of my passions! I loved everything about the project. All books are contemporary Christian romances, clean, sweet, and wholesome. That’s exactly the kind of books I write and like to read. The series have a mysterious art thread, but each book is a complete, satisfying romance. And there’s a connection to Italy. I even loved the name, A Tuscan Legacy!
Eight grandchildren–one legacy!
When Isabella Rossi invites each of her adult grandchildren to her estate in the Tuscan hills for her eightieth birthday, she hopes to reunite a family fractured by distance, death, and secrets.
The birthday gift of a painting, arriving unsigned and with no sender’s details, rips open old heartbreak. One family secret has already been revealed, her youngest son Albertino’s illegitimate English daughter. Now it seems there could be yet more secrets.
Returning home, the cousins scattered across three continents each discover their lifetime love. When they gather again at the villa as summer ends, the remaining secrets are revealed. But can they be forgiven, or will the mistakes of the past be repeated?
My contribution to the series is Rapsodia: Rhapsody.
It was fun writing this book and researching the history of pizza!
All 9 books/pre-orders in the series are currently available on Amazon, most of them at just 99 cents (limited time). If you’d like to read excerpts, buy books, learn more about the series, and/or follow A Tuscan Legacy on Amazon, please click here. What are the things you love doing, dear readers?

About the Book
A risk taker with a crushed spirit and a control-addicted businessman with a crushed heart… Can they surrender themselves to God’s healing love?
After the woman he loved left him for a richer guy, Marco Carter turned all his passion toward the chain of pizzerias he founded. He can control his business, unlike love. Then his world is turned upside down. He meets Samantha Jenkins on his flight home to Texas after his grandmother’s eightieth birthday. Many hours with the guarded but beautiful Samantha has him questioning his career-centered mindset.
A born risk taker and fiercely independent, Samantha misses her former life as a travel photographer and extreme sports aficionado. But more than anything, she grieves her fiancé. On her trip from Italy on the anniversary of his tragic passing, the last thing she expects is to become drawn to her neighbor on her flight. Deep inside, she still blames herself for her fiancé’s death…
Though Marco is determined to forget Samantha, the arrival of a mysterious painting reminds him of all that is missing in his life. Hoping for a new chance with her, Marco opens a pizzeria in Samantha’s hometown in south Texas. Spending time with her, he’s learning to surrender control to the Lord. But apparently it’s easier to earn millions than to make Samantha open her heart again. What will it take for her to heal enough to trust in God and take the biggest risk of all-to love again?

I’m not a risk taker that’s for sure. I love a quite ordinary life since I have gotten older. When I was younger I did take a few risks and was always going and doing things. I love to read, put puzzles together, crochet, play and sing music.
Congratulations on the take over and thanks for a giveaway.
