I recently moved back to Oregon with my husband of 31 years, where we’ve built a house on 68 acres about 40 miles outside of Portland. After growing up in Oregon, we’ve lived in Utah, Arizona, and Hawaii. We have three children, two girls and a boy, all grown and all writers themselves. We also have a dog (Golden Retriever) and a cat (Black). I love to write inspirational romance and hope my readers will be both entertained and uplifted by my stories. When I’m not writing, I love to paint (watercolors, oils, and acrylics), sew, knit, crochet, and read (of course)! My second novel will be published in 2017.

Talking to God as though He was just sitting right next to her or walking alongside her was the kind of prayer that worked for her. This was my first read of Ms. Henderson’s. I always love reading a new author because I’m hoping they’ll move to my list of must-read. And after reading The Triple Date Dare, I can honestly say I’ll read Ms. Henderson again.

The Triple Date Dare was a romance, but not your stereotypical one. See David has some issues–and don’t we all?–and Laura likes a challenge. I absolutely loved their meet-cute! You know that first time the two main characters meet. This one takes the cake! I won’t giveaway details, suffice to say I couldn’t stop laughing.

Each meeting afterward, upped the ante for anticipation and sparks flying between Laura and the handsome police officer. What I liked most was the epiphany David experiences near the end. I wanted to shout with joy when Laura returns his advice.

All in all, this romantic coast-side read kept me engaged and thankful for the Savior’s redeeming love.
