I’m thankful for the books that will be coming my way this year. There are some great ones coming out this year, so I thought I’d share the ones I’m most looking forward to. What about you? If you’re Most Anticipated Read isn’t in my list, feel free to share in the comments!
Blessings to you!
Releasing January 2017
I just know Trent Hawthorne will be a great hero so I can’t wait to read this!
The Blurb: “When her mother’s ill-conceived marriage trap goes awry, Lady Adelaide Bell unwittingly finds herself bound to a stranger who ignores her. Lord Trent Hawthorne, who had grand plans to marry for love, is even less pleased with the match. Can they set aside their first impressions before any chance of love is lost?”

I cannot wait for book 2 in the Chesapeake Valor series! Who’s with me?
The Blurb: “Work hits too close to home for crime scene photographer Avery Tate when her best friend disappears. The only lead is a chilling photo of her–apparently dead. As Avery, her boss Parker, and his friends dig into the case, she’s forced to confront her feelings for Parker when they come face-to-face with a dangerous criminal.”

I enjoyed book 1 of the Montana Rescue series and I can’t wait to dive into book 2.
Snippet of the Blurb: “When Deputy Sam Brooks commits to something, nothing can sway him–not just on the job as liaison between the Mercy Falls sheriff’s department and PEAK Rescue, but in his private life. He’s the one who stuck around to take care of his mother after his father’s accidental death. And he’s the one–perhaps the only one–who believes Sierra Rose is the perfect girl for him. Safe, practical, and organized, she’s nothing like her hippie, impulsive, bleeding heart sister, Willow…”

I adored Books 1 & 2. Book 3 I expect will be just as good.
Snippet of the Blurb: “When Maddy McKay and Quinn Holcombe don’t show up for Quinn’s surprise birthday party, his friends know that something is very wrong. Their search turns up little beyond evidence that Quinn and Maddy just decided to take off for a long overdue vacation. But it soon becomes apparent that they did not leave of their own accord…”
Releasing March 2017
Book 1 was explosive! So of course, I have to read Book 2.
Snippet of the Blurb: “Is Dylan hunting Casey to prosecute her or protect her?
Casey Cox is still on the run, fleeing prosecution for a murder she didn’t commit. Dylan Roberts—her most relentless pursuer—is still on her trail, but his secret emails insist that he knows the truth and wants to help her. He’s let her escape before when he had her in his grasp, but trust doesn’t come easily…”

Ms. West writes fiction that tugs at your soul. Can’t wait for her lateset release!
Snippet of the Blurb: “Thirteen years ago, Natalie lost a part of herself when her twin sister died. Will traveling back to the family winery finally put the memory to rest, or will it completely destroy her?”
Releasing April 2017
I adore all books written by Irene Hannon. So of course, this is going into my list.
The Blurb: “Hope Harbor police chief Lexie Graham has zero time for romance–but the handsome ex-con she enlists to help her with a wayward teen may convince her to make time for love.”

Ms. Ganshert’s writing is quite beautiful, no matter the genre. I look forward to her latest release.
Snippet of the Blurb: “On the day of a late spring storm, in Chicago, Autumn Manning boarded an “L” train. A bomb explodes, killing everyone in the train car except for Autumn—the sole survivor. A year has passed and Autumn suffocates under a blanket of what ifs and the pressing desire to bring the victims back to life, every day, if only for her. She doesn’t want their stories to be forgotten. She wants to undo what cannot be undone. An unexpected ally joins her efforts, also seeking answers and trying to find a way to stumble ahead…”
Releasing May 2017
Ms. Wade is one of my must-read authors. I cannot wait for May to roll around.
Snippet of the Blurb: “After a devastating heartbreak three years ago, genealogist and historical village owner Nora Bradford has decided that burying her nose in her work and her books is far safer than romance in the here and now…”

Releasing June 2017
I loved Ms. Lodge’s Two Blue Door series so I eagerly await her next novel.
The Blurb: “In this modern adaptation of Sense and Sensibility, Jane Woodward and her sister Celia run a small tea salon in San Francisco but are forced to relocate to Austin, Texas. While trying to start fresh and settle in, Jane meets a dashing musician, Sean, who steals her heart, but not before catching the eye of another suitor, military veteran Ben Fredrickson. The sisters drift apart, lives collide, dashing men steer Jane off course, and she discovers that adjusting to a new life is trickier than she anticipated.”
Releasing July 2017
This looks like a fantastic read and I ADORE the cover.
Snippet of the Blurb: “Rosemary Gresham has no family beyond the band of former urchins that helped her survive as a girl in the mean streets of London. Grown now, they concentrate on stealing high-value items and have learned how to blend into upper-class society. But when Rosemary must determine whether a certain wealthy gentleman is loyal to Britain or to Germany, she is in for the challenge of a lifetime. How does one steal a family’s history, their very name?”
Pre-order: Amazon, B&N

Thankfully, we won’t have to wait a whole year for book 3 of the Montana Rescue series. It releases 6 months after book 2.
Snippet of the Blurb: “Champion backcountry snowboarder Gage Watson has left the limelight behind after the death of one of his fans. After being sued for negligence and stripped of his sponsorships, he’s remade his life as a ski patrol in Montana’s rugged mountains, as well as serving on the PEAK Rescue team. But he can’t seem to find his footing–or forget the woman he loved, who betrayed him…”

I’m thrilled to read book 4. Elite Guardians is proving to be an amazing series!
The Blurb: “When a photo leads investigators in Ireland to open a cold case, bodyguard Haley Callaghan and her client are now in the cross-hairs as they race to find what links the past to their future.”
Releasing September 2017
Although you can’t pre-order the book yet, you can add it to your Goodreads shelf.
The Blurb: “Six months after stopping a deadly plague, Cole “Tox” Russell and his team are enjoying a little rest. That peace is short-lived when Tox is hit by a sniper shot. The enemy is one of their own, a rogue Special Forces team operator.
Alec King is perhaps the only person as skilled as Tox, and he’s out for justice. Furious with orders that got his men killed, he intends to make those responsible pay. And he insists Tox join him, believing they are the same breed of soldier.
Afraid his old friend is right, Tox battles a growing darkness within himself as he and his team engage in another deadly encounter with antiquity. It appears Alec is cheating–he’s using a mysterious artifact, a crown that history has linked to some of the worst slaughters in humanity. Racing to stop Alec before his vengeance is fulfilled, Tox must fight the monster without becoming one.”
A lot of these books are on my list. So excited to read these.

Dani Pettrey’s “Still Life” features a crime scene photographer. Don’t think I’ve seen that profession as a main character. Should be interesting.

Definitely a rare profession in the book world. I can’t wait to see how it’s woven into the story.
