All, My Thoughts

My Thoughts: The Silent Cry

Have you ever felt all alone? Stuck in a room full of people, but unable to connect? Unable to share your innermost thoughts?

It’s in those moments where we have the silent cry. You know what I mean. Those moments where you feel like your heart is breaking, your soul is splitting, and your mind is too frazzled to make a coherent thought.

It is when our being cries out silently. It cries out for someone to hear it. For someone to show one ounce of compassion that will keep us from falling of the ledge. It is despair at its darkest hour.

If you’re in that place, I came to remind you of something.

“In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried unto my God:
He heard my voice out of His temple, and my cry came before Him,
even into His ears.”
-Psalm 18:6 KJV
Where ever you are…God hears you. You are not alone. Hold on to that truth and rebuke the lie of the enemy. You are NOT alone.

It may feel like your cry is going unanswered. It may seem like silence greets you in return, but that is not true.

“Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble,
and He saveth them out of their distresses.”
- Psalm 107:19 KJV

Don’t fear the silence. For God hears your cry and He WILL help you.

The enemy would like you to believe that you are not important. That there is no way God would concern Himself with you.

But again, that is a lie to keep us in distress.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
- Jeremiah 29:11 KJV
He cares more than we can fathom. His love is unquantifiable. Remember that when your heart cries out. Remember and keep the faith.

Be blessed my friends!

    1. Isn’t intercessory prayer an awesome thing?! I love how God gave us the body to weep with us and to rejoice with us. Praying you have many days of rejoicing.
