Christmas Novellas Worth Reading

I know I already updated my TBR pile so I decided not to do that. However, I didn’t want to do two reviews in one week, so I came up with an alternative. I’m calling it Christmas Novellas Worth Reading. (Catchy phrase, huh?)

So here are a few novellas I read this week that I want to encourage you to read. Happy Reading!!

1. Jessica R. Patch’s Hope Under Mistletoe

Here’s the blurb: “A rowdy bar owner. A widowed pastor’s wife. And Christmas hope that brings them together.

After widower Eden Snow’s church almost burns to the ground, she’s compelled to find a temporary place to hold services and Christmas cantata practices.

Has-been hockey player, Knox Everhart, has a reputation for being fast on the ice and with women. Except Eden. She’s always been a fascinating mystery to him, which is why he agrees to let her use the back room of his bar—with one rule: No converting his customers.

But when Eden brings the church to the bar, it offers something the bottle can’t. Hope. And he finds himself falling in love with a woman and a Savior he feels unworthy to pursue.”

2. Cynthia Bruner’s Nic’s Suite Santa

Here’s the blurb: “Nic found the perfect place to be this Christmas, but she didn’t plan to spend it with the best boyfriend she ever lost.

When Nic Benedict is asked to help with childcare at the Vang family reunion, she jumps at the chance. Suddenly jobless and homeless, she thinks a weekend at a hot-spring resort is just what she needs. Until she learns that the other babysitter is Mark Vang, the man who broke up with her last Christmas Eve.

Mark seems maddeningly happy to share a suite with her at the overbooked Montana hotel, and despite herself, Nic starts to feel the same way.

But Mark isn’t Nic’s only problem. Unless she can find a way to let go of the past, she can’t move forward. Can Nic give voice to her dreams this Christmas and discover that she’s already received the best gift she never dreamed of?

Spend a faith-filled Christmas in Montana with Nic’s Suite Santa!”
