Even though I work from home and I don’t have a regular 9 to 5 job, I love Fridays because my family is all together. The boys come home from school on a Friday cloud high and my husband has no pressing business so we are all together.
I also love Fridays because of this blog post. The authors spend hours, weeks, months, and skill crafting a story that will touch you. So are you ready to see what’s on this week’s list? Here we go!!
*PS: please leave a review once you’ve read the books. It’s your way to say thank you. 🙂 Happy Reading!
I actually saw this book while perusing Facebook. It’s free on Kindle for a limited time, so don’t miss your chance to grab it. The blurb sounds amazing!
Here’s a portion of it: “Cannon James has a plan: Sign on as a contestant for his father’s new reality show, marry a blonde hand-picked by the producers, and walk away two million dollars richer. It’s all been arranged. Easy. Clean. No regrets. Until Ellie McAllister ruins everything by winning the viewer’s vote. Now he has to convince America that he’s head over heels in love with her. Not easy to do since she’s a walking disaster.”
Ms. Hannon’s novel is on sale for eBook at $1.99. Hooray! You can purchase it for Kindle at the discounted price until October 15th.
Here’s a snippet of the blurb: “Reporter Moira Harrison is lost. In the dark. In a thunderstorm. When a lone figure suddenly appears in the beam of her headlights, Moira slams on her brakes–but it’s too late. She feels the solid thump against the side of her car before crashing into a tree on the far side of the road.”
I love Ms. Pettrey’s Alaskan Courage series. Book 1, Submerged, is on sale for $2.99 on eBook until October 15th. You can purchase it on Kindle and Nook.
Here’s a snippet of the blurb: “A sabotaged plane. Two dead deep-water divers. One single clue.
Bailey Craig vowed never to set foot in Yancey, Alaska, again. She has a past, and a reputation–and Yancey’s a town that doesn’t forget. She’s returned only to bury a loved one killed in the plane crash, but then dark evidence emerges and Bailey’s own expertise becomes invaluable for the case.”
Ms. Hauck’s latest book, The Wedding Chapel, is available for pre-order for $4.99 on Kindle.
Here’s a portion of the blurb: “A lonely wedding chapel built as a tribute to lost love just might hold the long-awaited secret to hope and reconciliation.
For sixty years, the wedding chapel has stood silent and empty. Retired football hall-of-famer Jimmy “Coach” Westbrook built the chapel by hand, stone by stone, for his beautiful and beloved Collette Greer, whom he lost so many years ago. The chapel is a sanctuary for his memories, a monument to true love, and a testament to his survival of the deepest pain and loss.”
Ms. Huddleston is giving away a copy of Cooking up Christmas by Teresa Ives Lilly on her blog. The giveaway lasts from October 8 to 13th.
Here’s a snippet of the blurb: “When Henrietta agrees to become a mail order angel for Benjamin Capel, she moves to Angel Vale Wyoming eager to begin working in the town’s eatery. Although happy with her job and attracted to her husband-to-be, she discovers that Benjamin has several secrets.”
Ms. Crandall has 2 giveaways for a chance to win a paperback copy of the second book in The Everstone Chronicles, The Bound Heart. The first giveaway is on Goodreads and the second is through rafflecopter, featured below.
Here’s a snippet of the blurb: “One accidental kiss from Lawry Hampton. That was all it took to throw Meredyth Summercourt’s world upside down. Determined to marry the ever-elusive Vance Everstone, she simply doesn’t have the time or desire to fall for her best friend Lawry Hampton. But with Vance out of the country, and with Lawry at her side nearly every day, teaching her what the world is like through the eyes of a little orphan girl named Wynn. Now Meredyth can’t deny that what’s holding her to Vance is nothing more than a desire to redeem herself from her past.”
