Fun Fact Friday: Facts about Nottingham, the Setting of “A Life to Live.”

Picture

If you’ve read my book, A Life to Live, you know it’s set in Nottingham, England. I thoroughly enjoyed researching the place. Although I’ve never been, my travels to England helped me imagine it.

So today, I thought it would be fun to share a couple of facts you may or may not know.

1. Nottingham is the famous setting of another tale: Robin Hood. I couldn’t help but weave that into the story. Who doesn’t love Robin Hood?

2. Two men from Nottingham invented the VCR. We use to have tons of these in my house growing up. The best ones were those that held at least 3 movies on them. (Found fact here.)

Please share a fun fact about the place you’re from! And if you haven’t read my book, it’s available at Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Have a blessed weekend!
